Alvernia Records Fall At Millersville Metrics

Millersville, Pa. (Apr. 6, 2019) - Alvernia University Men's Track and Field set two school records at the Millersville Metrics Saturday.

Hunter Guenzel broke the school record in the javelin with a throw of 55.43m to finish third and Jason Scott broke the discus record with a throw of 38.61m to finish 17th.
Scott also finished 18th in the hammer throw and 16th in the shot put.

Tyler Barrett ran a top 10 time in the MAC this season breaking 2:00 in the 800m with a run of 1:59.58. Ivan Fegely finished ninth in the long jump at 6.49m and fifth in the high jump clearing 1.90m.

Adam Loehr set a person record in the long jump and 400m, Ryan Long also posted a personal best in the 400m, Julian Braddock finished 10th in the long jump with a personal best jump of 6.40m and Trevor Keefer cleared a personal best in the pole vault at 3.55m.

Alvernia continues the season next Saturday at Messiah.
