Men's Cross Country 29th At Rowan Border Battle

Logan Township, NJ (Oct. 16, 2021) - Alvernia's Emmanuel Rodriguez Jr. led Men's Cross Country to a 29th place finish on Saturday at Rowan University's Inter-Regional Border Battle.

Rodriguez finished the 8K race in 27:45.70 to take 195th overall. Rodriguez bettered his previous 8K best - from DeSales on October 9th - by 14 seconds.

Finishing in second for Alvernia and 190th overall was Matthew Wacker with a time of 28:57.60.

Finishing in third for Alvernia and 194th overall was Elijah Babcock with a time of 29:02.80. Babcock bettered his previous personal best by nine seconds from October 9th at DeSales.

Finishing in just under 31 minutes and in 241st overall was Segin Neiswender with a time of 30:58.40.

In fifth for the Golden Wolves and 244th overall was Kyle Schermerhorn with a time of 31:05.40.

Rounding out Alvernia's athletes at Rowan was Thomas Beck with a 280th place finish of 36:28.70.

Rowan was Alvernia's last competition before the 2021 MAC Championship on October 30th.
