Reading, Pa (Dec 4, 2021)- Alvernia University opened its men's indoor track and field season this Saturday as it hosted the Alvernia Golden Wolves Rust Buster at the Tom and Helen Flynn PLEX.
 
The day started for the men with the 60m hurdles. Adam Loehr finished second out of three, with a time of 9.08.
 
Loehr continued his strong day, recording first in the pole vault with 3.35m. Jake Ziegler was not far behind, tallying a 2.60m mark.
 
Cory Gray led the way for shot put, finishing second out of nine, recording a best distance of 13.26. Finishing in third right behind him was Jason Scott, who tallied a 12.39 mark.
 
Alvernia has off until January 15 when the Golden Wolves head to the Franklin and Marshall Invitational.
