BOX SCORE Reading, Pa. (April 20, 2021) - Alvernia University Women's Tennis (2-5, 2-2) fell to York College (6-1, 4-0) 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth Women's Tennis action at Alvernia.

The Spartans got off to a fast start after sweeping doubles play to take a 3-0 lead. 

Lily Summerson picked up Alvernia's first point of the afternoon with a 6-3, 6-2 win at #4 singles. 

The Golden Wolves picked up their second point at #6 singles with Jackie Checo picking up a point for Alvernia.

The Spartans would go on to take the other four singles matches for the 7-2 win.

The Golden Wolves have a bye this weekend and will host Hood College on Wednesday, April 28.
