BOX SCORE Glenside, Pa. (Oct. 9, 2022) - Alvernia University (5-0) closed out its fall season undefeated with the Golden Wolves taking a 9-0 win over Arcadia University (0-2) on Sunday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at Arcadia. 

The Golden Wolves jumped out to a 3-0 start after sweeping doubles play. 

Elizabeth Danovich preserved the shutout for Alvernia, with Danovich taking a three-set thriller in #5 singles. Danovich took the first set, 6-3, but fell in the second set. She then took the tiebreaker 10-2 to take the win.

Each of Alvernia's other athletes took their respective singles matches in straight sets.

The Golden Wolves will return to action for their spring season in March.
