Center Valley, Pa. (Sept. 30, 2023) - Alvernia University (2-3) dropped an 8-1 match to DeSales University (1-2) on Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action at DeSales.

Alvernia's only point of the day came off the duo of Alec Verhagen and Alexandros Vaziri at #3 doubles after the duo took their match, 8-7.

Alvernia nearly picked up another point at #2 singles from Jayden Lewis after splitting the first two sets, but DeSales took the tiebreaker to secure a sweep in singles play and the 8-1 win overall.

Alvernia is back in action on Wednesday at Misericordia.
