Reading, Pa. (April 20, 2024) - Alvernia University (5-8, 1-4) dropped an 8-1 MAC Commonwealth match to Stevenson University (4-7, 3-0) on Saturday afternoon in men's tennis action at the Governor Mifflin Courts.

The Mustangs took a 3-0 lead through doubles play and never looked back. Alvernia avoided the shutout with Jayden Lewis grabbing a 4-6, 7-6, 10-6 extra-set win at #2 doubles for the Golden Wolves. Lucas Berger also nearly picked up a win at #1 singles, but Stevenson took the third set as Alvernia dropped the overall match, 8-1.

Alvernia closes out the regular season on Saturday hosting Messiah.
