- The Eagles jumped ahead first in the top of the second after two wild pitches allowed two runs to score and gave Juniata a 2-0 lead.Â
- Juniata tacked one more on in the second after a RBI single to left pushed a third run across the plate to make it a 3-0 ballgame.Â
- The Eagles made it 4-0 in the third thanks to an Alvernia error to push the lead to four.Â
- The Golden Wolves got two back in the bottom of the third thanks to a Juniata error that allowed two runs to score and make it a 4-2 ballgame.Â
- Alvernia pulled within one in the home half of the sixth after Mike Ramundo slapped a one out double down the right field line, Jason Kelly then singled into the left center gap to score Ramundo and make it a 4-3 game.Â
- The Eagles pushed the lead back to three in the top of the seventh after a two RBI double off the left field wall made it a 6-3 game.Â
- Juniata would then go on to tack on six insurance runs in the top half of the ninth to secure the 12-3 victory.Â
