Jermyn Leads Golden Wolves at Kutztown and Scranton Shows

Pipersville, Pa. (November 25, 2025) - First year Isabella Jermyn recorded three first place finishes in four events over the weekend to lead Alvernia University women's equestrian at Scranton's show and Kutztown's show. 

Jermyn led the Golden Wolves to a 3rd place team finish as the Golden Wolves finished up Scranton's show that was suspended earlier in the month. The Golden Wolves then competed at Kutztown's show on Sunday and took sixth place as a team. 

Isabella Jermyn's three first place finishes over the weekend also earned her Alvernia Athlete of the Week honors for her performances, the first of her career. 

Scranton Show: 3rd Place Team Finish (25 points) 

After the Scranton show was suspended on November 8th, the teams re-gathered to complete the show and also compete at Kutztown's home show afterwards. 

Isabella Jermyn led the Golden Wolves to a 3rd place team finish and Alvernia recorded 25 team points. Jermyn recorded a first place finish in Limit Fences on Jimmy to earn seven points. Jermyn then turned around and tallied another first place finish on Maverick to earn seven more points in Limit Flat. Jermyn also finished the show in a three way tie for overall high point rider. 

Emma Philiposian followed with a second place finish in Open Flat on Alvernia's Jazz, All That Jazz to earn five points and then turned around and posted a fifth place finish in Open Fences on Jazz. 

Emmerson Bartley recorded a third place finish in Limit Flat to earn four points and Danielle Reich also posted a third place finish in Novice Flat on Skip to earn four points. 

Evelyn Gombar tallied a sixth place finish in Limit Flat on Kid and Emma Hackett finished in sixth place in Open Flat. Nicole Alvarado rounded out the Golden Wolves with a seventh place finish in Introductory Flat on Glory. 

Kutztown Show: 6th Place Team Finish (19 points) 

Jermyn continued her run of form and posted yet another first place finish in Limit Fences on Sage to earn seven points and then posted a sixth place finish in Limit Flat on Boston to grab another point. 

Philiposian recorded a third place finish on Secret in Open Fences to earn four points and then followed that with a sixth place finish in Open Flat on Lulu to earn one more point. Reich also posted a third place finish on the day with a third place finish in Novice Flat on Gigi for four points. 
Nya Barry posted a sixth place finish on Lulu in Intermediate Flat, Emmerson Bartley tallied a sixth place finish in Limit Flat on Arian and Nicole Alvarado followed with a sixth place finish in Introductory Flat on Skip. 

Emma Hackett rounded out the Golden Wolves with a sixth place finish on Easton in Open Flat to close out the Alvernia riders.

The Kutztown show marked the end of the fall season for the Golden Wolves. Alvernia posted two third place finishes in the fall with a third place finish at Rutgers and the Scranton show and recorded a fourth place finish at its home show.
