Reading, Pa. (October 27, 2026) — Quinlan Hood and Cassidy Miksich were both named MAC Golfer of the Week in their respective fields for their efforts this past week on the course.

Alvernia participated in its annual Fall Invitational at Ledge Rock Golf Club, and both Hood and Miksich performed on their home course.

Hood shot a 1-under 71 to tie for first and earned low medalist honors on a match of cards at the Fall Invitational. He went 4-under on the back nine. Hood's 18th hole ended in an eagle and consisted of a 265-yard strike on his second shot that he stuck less than two feet from the hole to jump into a tie for first.

Miksich participated in three events this past week, won low medalist honors twice, and tied for third in the other event, leading the Golden Wolves to two team titles. She won on a match of cards with a 79 at the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational, tied for third with an 84 at the Alvernia Fall Invitational, and won with a 78 at the Lady Lions Invitational, averaging 80.3 on the week.

Alvernia women's golf concluded its fall season yesterday at the Lady Lions Invitational, and the men's team wraps up its season tomorrow in the Yocum Cup back at Ledge Rock Golf Club!
