Miksich Takes Third to Lead Golden Wolves at Spring Invitational

Mohnton, Pa. (March 31, 2026) - Cassidy Miksich recorded a third place finish to pace Alvernia University at its home Spring Invitational Tuesday afternoon in women's golf action at LedgeRock Golf Club.

Miksich finished in a tie for third place after posting an 83 on the day. Grace Spielman recorded a score of 89 to finish in ninth place and Rylee Stenzel rounded out the Golden Wolves in the top ten with a tenth place finish and a score of 90.

Alvernia finished in fourth place in the team race with a team total of 390.

Cassidy Miksich started her day on the 13th tee and after an opening hole par, found herself rattling off a string of bogeys heading to the front nine. Miksich righted the ship and tallied five pars on the front nine and one more par on the back to post a 40 on the front and a 43 on the back for an 83.

Grace Spielman started her day on the 11th hole and carded bogeys and a few big numbers to round out her back nine and post a 47. Spielman got back on track on the front nine and tallied three pars and a 42 on the front to post a score of 89.

Rylee Stenzel rounded out the Golden Wolves in the top ten with a 90. Stenzel tallied five pars on the day including a stretch of four pars in five holes on the back nine. She also carded birdies on five and 16 but big numbers plagued her round as she posted a 49 on the front nine and a 41 on the back en route to the 90.

Caroline Martin rounded out the Golden Wolves with a 128 in her collegiate debut. Martin recorded a 64 on the front and a 64 on the back to shoot a 128.

Alvernia is back in action on Thursday when they travel to Hershey CC East for the Elizabethtown Invitational, an event that they won the team title at back in the fall.
