Alvernia Competes at Elizabethtown Invitational

Hershey, Pa. (April 2, 2026) - A trio of Alvernia women's golfers competed at Hershey County Club for the Elizabethtown College Invitational on a cool and drizzly day in Hershey.

Cassidy Miksich led Alvernia with a round of 19-over 90. Miksich fired a 44 on the front nine with three pars and a 46 on the back nine with two pars on her day. Her round of 90 earned her a fourth palace finish overall.

Grace Spielman finished fifth overall with a round of 92. Spielman fired a 43 on the front nine with a par and a birdie on the eighth. She followed that with a back nine 49 for a round of 92.

Caroline Martin rounded out Alvernia's showing with a round of 153.

Salisbury University took the team title by 61 strokes with a team score of 363. Lebanon Valley's Jill Fidler won low medalist honors on a tiebreaker with a round of 84.

Alvernia is back in action on Saturday. April 11 at Susquehanna.
