Cailyn Hawley were named Alvernia Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of April 20 - April 26, 2026.
Tyler Weil-Kaspar pitched a 7-inning complete game no-hitter against Gwynedd Mercy on Tuesday. Weil-Kaspar struck out five batters and walked just two batters. He allowed just three base runners in Alvernia's first no-hitter since 2020 and fifth no-hitter in program history.
Cailyn Hawley finished Alvernia's final week of the season with 11 caused turnovers and 12 ground balls. Hawley finished with four caused turnovers and five ground balls against Widener. She then posted seven caused turnovers and seven ground balls against #8 York. Hawley's 11 caused turnovers helped her establish a new single-season record for Alvernia women's lacrosse. Hawley finished the year with 49 caused turnovers, bettering the previous season record of 37 caused turnovers set by Haleigh Lackner in 2024.Â
Alvernia Baseball closed out its season this afternoon against Keystone. Women's Lacrosse finished its season on Saturday at York.Â
