Anyia Leads Alvernia at Final Day of 2026 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship

Grantham, Pa. (May 2, 2026) - Alvernia Women's Track and Field sophomore Britney Anyia took third place to lead Alvernia at the third and final day of the 2026 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Messiah University.

Anyia took third place and earned third team All-MAC honors in the triple jump with a mark of 11.21 meters. First year Alani White joined Anyia on the podium with a sixth place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.76 meters.

Isabella Lesko took sixth in the javelin to also grab a podium spot. Lesko threw a personal-record mark of 34.31 meters to secure her sixth place finish. Paige Jerrahian also set a new personal-record for Alvernia on Saturday, going sub-five minutes in the 1,500m with a time of 4:58.76 to take 11th place.

Angelise Rodriguez took 16th in the triple jump with a mark of 9.78 meters. Alvernia's 4x400m relay team of Addy Gularte, Brooke Hall, Samantha Wallace, and Paige Jerrahian closed out the day with an 11th place finish off a time of 4:21.26.

Alvernia finished in 13th place in the team standings with 15.5 points. Lebanon Valley won the team title with 136 points.

Alvernia is back in action on Monday, May 11 at the Widener Final Qualifier.
