Alvernia Concludes Regular Season at Shippensburg

Shippensburg, Pa. (April 25, 2026) - Alvernia Women's Track and Field wrapped up regular season competition at the Shippensburg University Paul Kaiser Invitational on Saturday.

Alvernia posted four new personal-records in its final competition before next weekend's MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

In the 1,500 meter, Paige Jerrahian won her heat with a time of 5:06.71 en route to a 12th place finish in the field of 59 runners. Julia Polaski also set a new personal record by three seconds with a time of 5:58.30.

Alvernia also had three new personal records in the field. Both Alex Ficalora and Sydney English posted new PRs in the discus with respective marks of 19.57 meters and 15.24 meters. English also set a new PR in the shot put with a mark of 6.56 meters.

Alani White took ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.67 meters, and took 17th in her first collegiate long jump appearance with a jump of 4.65 meters.

Alvernia is back on the track beginning on Thursday for the 2026 Outdoor MAC Track and Field Championship at Messiah University.
