Grantham, Pa. (April 11, 2026) - Britney Anyia posted two top ten finishes to lead Alvernia Women's Track and Field at the Messiah Invitational on Friday at Saturday at Messiah University, the site of the 2026 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship late in May.

Anyia accounted for two of Alvernia's four top ten finishes on the day. The Golden Wolves also finished invitational with  five new personal records set.

Anyia took second place in the long jump with a new personal record mark of 5.57 meters. She also posted a seventh place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.42 meters. Rounding out Alvernia's top ten finishes in the field was Isabella Lesko with a fourth place finish in the javelin on a season-best mark of 33.42 meters. 

The Golden Wolves grabbed a third place finish in the 4x400m relay as the team of Addy Gularte, Remiah Rivera, Samantha Wallace, and Paige Jerrahian posted a time of 4:20.12. That time shaved over five seconds off of Alvernia's previous season-best time in the 4x400m relay.

Along with Anyia's new PR in the long jump, Alvernia posted four additional new PRs this weekend. Remiah Rivera shaved two tenths of a second off her previous 100m PR with a time of 13.32 seconds. Brooke Hall took off nearly three seconds in the 400m Hurdle with a time of 1:15.84 to grab 15th place. Alex Ficalora set a new PR in the discus with a mark of 18.75 meters, and Alani White posted a new PR in the triple jump with a mark of 9.79 meters. 

The Golden Wolves are back in action on April 18 at the Moravian Coach P Invitational.
