Aston, PA (Oct. 18, 2005) – Neumann College scored the opening goal less than two minutes into action and again in the 71st minute in a 2-0 win over Alvernia College Tuesday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women’s soccer action at Neumann.

            Sophomore forward Kim Rizzo tallied the first goal of the game at the 1:52 mark of the first period unassisted, and Casey Geary scored the insurance goal with just under 20 minutes remaining.  Alvernia junior Katie Einsel (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin) made seven saves in net for the Crusaders.

            Alvernia will travel to Rutgers-Newark for a non-conference match on Thursday.
