Reading, PA (Oct. 25, 2005) – Senior outside hitter Amy Werley (Fleetwood, PA/Brandywine Heights) tallied a team-high 10 kills for Alvernia College in a 3-1 loss to College Misericordia Tuesday evening in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women’s volleyball action at the Physical Education Center.

            Alvernia (10-12, 3-6 PAC) battled back for a 35-33 win in game to evening the match at one game apiece, but Misericordia rallied for 16 of 22 points for a comeback win in game three and cruised to a 30-22 win in the fourth game.

            Alvernia will host Cedar Crest College on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the final match of the regular season.
