Radnor, PA (Oct. 27, 2005) – Cabrini College tallied the only goal of the game in the 19th minute handing Alvernia College a 1-0 defeat in the season-finale for both teams Wednesday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women’s soccer action at Cabrini.

            The Cavaliers (4-12, 4-6 PAC) got a goal from Brittany Shields to break a scoreless tie and Leandra Conti made five saves in the win.  Alvernia keeper Danielle Fitzpatrick (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) made three saves in net for the Crusaders (3-14-1, 2-7-1 PAC).

            Cabrini held an 11-10 advantage in shots while the Crusaders had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
