Reading, PA (Nov. 12, 2005) - Widener stole a win and potential point away from the Crusaders with 32 seconds left in regulation with a 4-3 victory.  Matt Elston drew a boarding penalty but Alvernia failed to take advantage of the power play.
          Instead, Widener poke checked the puck from the defensive point and raced uncontested down the right wing boards and finished the lone rush with a break-away goal. The unfortunate turn of events negated a solid effort by the Alvernia skaters.  Offensive highlights included Bruce Hawthorne's second goal in as many games.  Sophomore Chris Pratt notched his third goal of the season while Ryan Kelly had another crafty break-away goal.
