Immaculata, PA (Sept. 26, 2005) – Senior outside hitter Amy Werley (Fleetwood, PA/Brandywine Heights) racked up a match-high 10 kills to lead Alvernia College to a 3-0 win over Immaculata University Monday evening in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women’s volleyball action at Alumnae Hall.

            The Crusaders (6-8, 1-2 PAC) handled Immaculata (1-10, 0-4) with little trouble in picking up their first conference victory in three attempts.  Freshman setter Jenn Stigura (Barto, PA/Central Catholic) had 27 assists for the Crusaders.

            Alvernia will travel to Rutgers-Camden this Saturday.
