(Oct. 10, 2006) - Senior forward Becky Macchione (Richland, PA/Conrad Weiser) scored three goals and Jessie Titus (Leesport, PA/Schuylkill Valley) added a goal and an assist as Alvernia College defeated Arcadia University 6-0 Wednesday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference field hockey action at Arcadia.

Alvernia held a decisive 31-7 advantage in shots and both Crusader keepers Audrey Hoffman (Mertztown, PA/Brandywine Heights) and Mandy Yocum (Morgantown, PA/Twin Valley) played 35 minutes each and made one save each.
