Sikorski Collects 14 Kills On Limited Swings

Reading, Pa. (Oct. 11, 2006) – Junior outside hitter Amy Sikorski (Topton, PA/Brandywine Heights) finished with her second-lowest number of swings on the season with 27 attempts, but still racked up 14 kills as Alvernia College defeated Penn State-Berks 3-0 Wednesday evening in non-conference women’s volleyball action at Penn State-Berks.

            Sophomore setter Lauren Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame) finished with 24 assists and five Crusaders earned four or more kills.  Sophomore Jenn Stigura (Barto, PA/Central Catholic) led the team with nine digs.

            Alvernia will complete the Reading neighborhood tour with a trip to Albright College Thursday evening for a non-conference tilt with the Lions.
