Reading, Pa. (Oct. 2, 2006) – Sophomore Lauren Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame) racked up 21 assists and 10 digs as Alvernia fell to Eastern University, 3-0 Monday evening in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women’s volleyball action at the Physical Education Center.

            Alvernia was led by Amy Sikorski (Topton, PA/Brandywine Heights) and Natalie Minnich (Tower City, PA/Williams Valley) who had eight kills each.  Eastern got a match-high 15 kills from Kara Hildebrand (New Holland, PA/Garden Spot) and five players reached double figures in kills for the guests led by Chelsea Lyon (Phoenix, MD/Home School) who racked up 16.

            Alvernia will travel to Scranton on Wednesday for a PAC match with Marywood University.
