Sikorski Leads Crusaders With Nine Kills

Reading, Pa. (Oct. 26, 2006) – Neumann College jumped out to an early lead in game one en route to a 30-15 win in the opener and the Knights rolled to a 3-0 win over Alvernia College Thursday evening in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women’s volleyball action at the Physical Education Center.

            Alvernia (8-9, 5-5 PAC) junior Amy Sikorski (Topton, PA/Brandywine Heights) led the Crusaders with nine kills, and sophomore Lauren Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame) handed out 16 assists.  Cassie Reber (Wyomissing, PA/Wilson) led the Crusaders with seven digs.

            Neumann (18-12, 9-2 PAC) got a match-high 13 kills from Julia Tarloski (Malvern, PA/Bishop Shanahan) and 33 assists from Kristen Gregg-Verone (Folsom, PA/Cardinal O’Hara).

            Alvernia will complete the conference schedule on Saturday with a trip to College Misericorida.
