Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (Oct. 7, 2006) – A trio of Crusaders finished 11th, 12th, and 13th in the women’s race to lead Alvernia College to a fourth place finish, and Joe Pritiskutch# (Pottstown, PA/St. Pius X) earned a top 10 medal with an eighth place finish to lead Alvernia to sixth place at the Gwynedd-Mercy College Invitational Saturday morning.
Freshman Bridget Burger (Lansdale, PA/Lansdale Catholic) finished in 23:06 for 11th place, Sarah Cayliss (Bethel, PA/Home School) was eight seconds later in 12th, and Katie O’Brien (Boothwyn, PA/Garnet Valley) nine seconds after that in 13th place.
Pritiskutch led the Crusaders for the sixth straight time this year and posted his second top 10 finish of the year finishing in 30:54. Chris Bachman (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) finished in 35:27 and Currie Mooney (Cream Ridge, PA/Allentown) finished in 35:58.
