Reading, PA (April 10, 2006) - Eastern University earned wins in the middle four singles matches en route to a 5-2 win over Alvernia College in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men's tennis action Monday afternoon at Angelica Park.
     Alvernia No. 1 Tom Pierantozzi (Audubon, NJ/Audubon) earned a straight set win for the Crusaders in singles play, but the Eagles took each match No. 2 through No. 5 in the 5-2 win.  Joe Stock (Tulpehocken, PA/Tulpehocken) was victorious at No. 6 singles and William Garceau (Sinking Spring, PA/Exeter) and Matt Nied (Tafton, PA/Wallanpaupack) won at No. 3 doubles.
