Glenside, PA (April 12, 2006) - Arcadia University defeated Alvernia College 6-1 Wednesday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men's tennis action at Arcadia.
     Alvernia sophomore Phil Snyder (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) earned a straight set victory at No. 2 singles, but the Knights swept through the other five matches winning No. 5 and No. 6 in three sets.
     Alvernia will meet Albright College on Tuesday in a non-conference match with the PAC Championships scheduled for April 21-22.
