Center Valley, Pa. (Sept. 21, 2006) – DeSales University won all nine matches in straight sets to take a 9-0 win over Alvernia College Thursday afternoon in non-conference women’s tennis action at DeSales.

            The Crusaders earned game wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles and Breana Martzall (Lancaster, PA/Conestoga Valley) won two games in the first set at No. 4 singles, but the Bulldogs cruised to their eighth win over the season.

            Alvernia will travel to Immaculata University on Friday for a 3:00 p.m. match.
