Pomona, N.J.. (Sept. 25, 2006) – Richard Stockton University, ranked 17th by the latest NSCAA National Coaches Poll, snapped Alvernia College’s six-game unbeaten streak taking a 3-0 decision Monday night in non-conference men’s soccer action at Stockton.

            Brian Klein scored twice for the Osprey (7-1-1) in the first half and Domenick Raimo added a late goal in the 87th minute for the 3-0 final.  Neither offense mustered many threats with a relatively low shot total, 8-2, favoring Stockton.  Both keepers made just one save on the night and corner kicks were even at five apiece.

            Alvernia will return home to host conference foe Marywood University on Tuesday in a rescheduled game.
