Reading, Pa. (Sept. 23, 2006) – Lebanon Valley won nine matches in straight sets to sweep Alvernia College 9-0 Saturday afternoon in non-conference women’s tennis action at Angelica Park.

            Alvernia scored single game wins in five of six singles matches, but could not muster a sustained threat against the Dutchmen who improve to 4-3 on the season.  Alvernia falls to 1-5 overall. And will face Marywood University on Tuesday in a conference match at Angelica Park.
