Reading, Pa. (Mar. 3, 2007) – Alvernia College swept Penn State Berks 9-0 in non-conference men’s tennis action on Saturday afternoon at Hillcrest Courts.

            Alvernia won all nine matches in straight sets. Freshmen Zach Lockwood (Reading, PA/Conrad Weiser) and Ryan Lineaweaver (Robesonia, PA/ELCO) won in #1 doubles, 8-0 and Lockwood cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #1 singles.

            Alvernia is scheduled to host Albright on Wednesday at Angelica Park.
