Center Valley, Pa. (Mar. 28, 2007) – DeSales University scored four goals in the first quarter and took a 6-0 lead at the halftime break en route to a 10-3 win over Alvernia College Wednesday afternoon in non-conference men’s lacrosse action at DeSales.

            Alvernia sophomore Tom Fraker (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) led the Crusaders (2-5) with two goals and junior Tom Novak (Pottstown, PA/Pottsgrove) tallied the other.  Freshman Mark Lenahan (New Providence, NJ/New Providence) made eight saves in net for the Crusaders.

            DeSales (6-2) got a game-high five goals from Dan Thomer and two goalies combined to make 11 saves.

            Fraker won 7-of-15 faceoffs and picked up a game-high 11 ground balls.  Alvernia will host Mt. St. Vincent in non-conference action on Saturday.
