Hershey, Pa. (Apr. 12, 2007) – Junior Ryan Weaber (Lebanon, PA/Cedar Crest) fired an 8-over 79 to lead Alvernia College to a 330 team total and 11th place out of 16 teams at the Elizabethtown College Spring Invitational Thursday hosted by Hershey Country Club East Course.

            Weaber posted a pair of birdies on the front nine en route to a 39.  Junior Doug McConnell (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) shot 81, sophomore Derek Stewart (Bernville, PA/Tulpehocken) shot 82 and freshman Jeremy Landis (Reading, PA/Central Catholic) shot 88.

            Alvernia will travel to the Franklin & Marshall Invitational Monday at Bent Creek Golf Course.
