Immaculata, Pa. (Apr. 14, 2007) – Sophomore Tom Fraker (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) scored four of his five goals before halftime to lead Alvernia College to a 13-7 win over Immaculata University Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men’s lacrosse action at Draper Walsh Stadium.
Immaculata (0-8, 0-4 PAC) opened the scoring just over three minutes into the game, but Alvernia (4-7, 2-2 PAC) answered with four straight goals to close the first quarter with a 4-1 lead. Both teams found the net three times in the second quarter and Alvernia kept its three-goal cushion at the half leading 7-4.
The Crusaders continued with three goals in the third and three in the fourth while holding Immacualta to just three total after halftime. Freshman goalie Mark Lenahan (New Providence, NJ/New Providence) made 12 saves in net for the Crusaders.
Alvernia will continue it s schedule at Centenary College on Monday.
