The lead remained 10 after a Foran 3 at the 3:11 mark, but Foran's jumper at 2:14 was the only other bucket for the Greyhounds before the break, and Alvernia closed with a 12-2 run punctuated by Velazquez's second 3, an answered prayer from mid court.
Alvernia will return to action on Wednesday when it hosts Misericordia University in a Freedom Conference doubleheader.
