Williamsport, Pa. (April 10, 2010) - Freshman Jed Spangler (Somerset, Pa./Somerset) and Nathan Bauer (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) earned three-set singles wins for Alvernia University (2-5, 1-1) dropped a 7-2 decision at Lycoming College (4-1, 3-0) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference men's tennis action.

Lycoming earned a point in all three doubles matches and three of the six singles matches went three sets with Bauer and Spangler earning points for Alvernia, and Lycoming's Robert Brown topped Zach Lockwood (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) at No. 1 singles.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule Monday hosting FDU-Florham.
