Reading, Pa. (Mar. 26, 2011) - Alvernia University (1-5, 1-0) blew past Albright College (0-3, 0-1) Saturday afternoon in a Commonwealth Conference men's tennis match at Governor Mifflin Courts.
Albright squeezed out a 9-7 win at No. 3 doubles, but Alvernia took five of the six singles matches in straight sets and
Kevin Brandt (Sodus, N.Y./Sodus Central) needed a 10-8 win at No. 3 singles to help the Crusaders sweep the singles matches.
Alvernia returns to action Tuesday at Immaculata.
