Annville, Pa. (Apr. 21, 2011) - Lebanon Valley College (10-8, 4-2) scored two 8-1 wins in doubles play and an 8-0 win en route to sweeping Alvernia University (4-10, 1-4) 9-0 Thursday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference men's tennis action at Lebanon Valley.
Alvernia sophomore
Nathan Bauer (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) went up one set to none in the opening of his match at no. 2 singles, but lost the second set 6-3 then the deciding set 10-6.
Alvernia concludes the regular season Monday hosting Messiah College in a men's and women's doubleheader.
