Collegeville, Pa. (Apr. 11, 2013) - Sophomore Dan Minnich (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra) won his fourth straight singles match and seventh in the last eight outings, but Alvernia University (6-8) dropped an 8-1 decision at Ursinus College (10-5) Thursday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action at Ursinus.

Minnich has won each of the last four in straight sets needing a 7-4 decision in a tie-breaker to take set two from Ursinus's Evan Lord.

The Crusaders return to conference action Saturday at Hood College.
