Reading, Pa. (Mar. 22, 2014) - Junior Daniel Minnich (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and freshman
Dennis Sult (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh) earned an entertaining win at No. 1 doubles, but it was the only point that Alvernia University secured in an 8-1 loss to Ursinus College Saturday afternoon at Angelica Park.
The Bears took two of the three doubles points then swept the singles matches. Minnich came the closest to earning a second point with a 3-set loss to Evan Lord at No. 2 singles.
