Susquehanna, Pa. (Sept. 26, 2015) - Susquehanna University (2-0) collected win in all three doubles matchups en route to a 7-2 victory over Alvernia University (0-1) in Alvernia's non-conference fall season opener Saturday afternoon at Susquehanna.
Susquehanna won the first five matches of the day, including No. 1 and 2 singles, until
Reid Hoff put the Crusaders on the board by capturing the No. 3 singles in the final set.
Ahead 5-1, Susquehanna took the next two singles matches before
Todd Unger closed out the day tallying Alvernia's second point of the contest with a straight set win at No. 6 singles.
Alvernia continues its season on Tuesday, traveling to Cabrini for non-conference action.
