Falcons Blank Crusaders, 9-0

Reading, Pa. (Apr. 29, 2017) - Messiah College (10-5, 7-0) opened with three wins in doubles play to set the tone for a 9-0 win over Alvernia University (9-7, 2-5) Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth men's tennis action at Governor Mifflin.

The Falcons took two of the three doubles matches with 8-4 victories before claiming all six singles matchups in straight sets.

Luke Hangen and Antonio Gaetani posed the biggest threats of pushing their singles matches to a third set as both fell in the second set 6-4.

With today's match, the Crusaders wrap up their 2017 spring season.
