Golden Wolves Take On NJCU Duals

Jersey City, NJ (Dec. 15, 2023) - Alvernia University Women's Wrestling went 1-2 on Friday evening in wrestling action at the New Jersey City University Duals.

The Golden Wolves picked up a 30-5 win over Utica University. Alvernia fell to the host #9 Gothic Knights, 40-10, and to #17 East Stroudsburg University, 43-5. 

Alvernia's individual performances were highlighted by a pin in 1:50 by Alana Durham over NJCU's Mackenzie Finn.

Alvernia has a few weeks off for the holidays and will return to action on January 14th at the Ursinus Will Abele Open.
