West Liberty, WV (Feb. 21, 2026) - Alvernia Women's Wrestling 2025-26 season came to a close on Saturday at the second and final day of the NCAA Region II Regionals on the campus of West Liberty University in West Virginia.

Remiah Rivera and Elizabeth Adebola were Alvernia's two wrestlers to make it to the second day of competition on Saturday. Rivera was Alvernia's first wrestler to go on Saturday in the 110 pound bracket. But, Rivera's day came to an end with a 10-0 technical fall loss to Eastern's Ana Morales in the third round of consolation bouts. Adebola's run came to an end in the same round as she fell in a 10-4 decision to West Liberty's Makyah Newlun.

The top three finishers in each weight class advanced to represent Region II at the inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling Championship in Iowa. Lehigh University took the team title at Region II with 151.5 points.
