Women's Wrestling Competes at Ursinus Duals

Collegeville, Pa. (Feb. 4, 2023) - Alvernia University dropped two matches at the Ursinus College Duals on Saturday.

The Golden Wolves fell 25-20 to Cedar Crest and then dropped a 25-20 decision to the host Bears.

Kathryn Berger led Alvernia with two pins on the afternoon. Berger pinned Zakiyyah Sabir of Cedar Crest at 143 lbs. She then got her second pin of the afternoon with a 46 second pin of Ursinus' Lauren Gherman.

Alvernia has a quick turnaround and will compete tomorrow at the NJCU Quad match.
