Reading, Pa. (Sept. 20, 2023) - Alvernia University Women's Ice Hockey, the defending MAC Champions, released its 2023-24 schedule today, with the season set to begin on October 27.
Alvernia's season will get underway on the road as the Golden Wolves head to Anna Maria College for a two-game series against the Amcats. The Golden Wolves then open their home and UCHC schedule on November 3rd as Alvernia hosts King's College. Alvernia then heads up to King's for its second game of the series on the 4th.
Alvernia then has a home/away series against Arcadia on November 10th and 11th, followed by a home/away series against Neumann on November 17th and 18th.
After a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday, Alvernia closes out its first semester schedule on December 1st and 2nd at Stevenson. The Golden Wolves then have a month off before returning to action on January 2 with a single-game against Morrisville State. That game sparks the start of a seven game homestand that spans the majority of January for Alvernia. Alvernia will host Utica, Nazareth, and Chatham during the homestand.
The Golden Wolves are back on the road on January 26th and 27th at Manhattanville College and then head to HersheyPark Arena on February 2nd and 3rd to take on Lebanon Valley College.
The Golden Wolves are back home on February 9th and 10th for a break from the UCHC schedule to host Albertus Magnus. Alvernia then closes out its regular season schedule on February 16th and 17th against Wilkes. Alvernia will be home on the 16th and up at Wilkes on the 17th.
