York, Pa. (Oct. 19, 2025) - Alvernia senior Rylee Stenzel sits at a tie for third through 16 holes to lead Alvernia as play was suspended due to darkness in round one of the two-day Spartan Invitational at Royal Manchester Golf Links in York, Pa.

Stenzel is in a tie for third at 7-over through 16 holes. Stenzel was the only Golden Wolf to not complete her opening round, but she joins 17 other players in the field of 27 who did not finish their opening 18 holes.

Stenzel was 6-over through the front nine and moved to 7-over with a bogey on the 10th. She then settled in, going 1-under through the next five holes with a birdie on the 13th and four pars. She moved back to 7-over with a bogey on the 16th before play was suspended.

Grace Spielman is in second for Alvernia and in seventh overall after going 12-over with a round of 84 on Sunday. Her round of 84 marks a season-low. Spielman started her day with a birdie on the opening par four 1st hole. She finished the front nine with five pars and made the turn at 4-over. Spielman was then 7-over through 16 holes with four more pars, but gave a combined five strokes back over the final two holes for her round of 84.

Cassidy Miksich finished in third for Alvernia and is in a tie for eighth overall with a round of 85. Miksich was 1-over through the first six holes with five pars on her card. She then made the turn at 6-over. Miksich then played the back stretch at 7-over with four more pars for her round of 85.

Alvernia is back at Royal Manchester on Monday. The field will finish out round one before concluding the day with round two.
