Alvernia Opens Fall Season at Lehigh

Ringoes, N.J. (October 7, 2025) - Alvernia University Women's Equestrian opened up its 2025-2026 season at Lehigh University's show Saturday at Brookside Stables.

The Golden Wolves recorded a seventh place finish in the season opener.

Emmerson Bartley recorded the best finish of the day and tallied a second place finish in Novice Flat on Tigger to earn herself five points.

Nicole Alvarado recorded a fourth place finish on Andy in Introductory Flat and earned three points. Danielle Reich also recorded a fourth place finish in Novice Flat on Alvernia's Count and Emma Philiposian posted a fourth place finish on Hayley in Open Fences to earn three points.

Evelyn Gombar posted a fifth place finish in Limit Flat on Alvernia's Count to record two points. Bella Jermyn recorded a fifth place finish in Limit Fences on Turtle to earn two points and also grabbed a point in Limit Flat on Darby.

Nya Barry took fifth in Intermediate Flat on Midas and also tallied a sixth place finish on Buddy in Intermediate Fences. Emma Hackett recorded a fifth place finish on Splendid in Open Flat and also tallied a sixth place finish in Intermediate Fences on Easton to grab a point.

The Golden Wolves are back in action this weekend when they travel to Harmony Township, N.J. for Lafayette's Show at Top Notch Equestrian Center at 9:00 AM.
