Golden Wolves Take Down Cyclones, 35-14.

Centenary, N.J. (December 1, 2025) - Alvernia University tallied a 35-14 dual victory over Centenary University Monday night in a non-conference women's wrestling dual at Centenary.

Alvernia took a 10-0 lead from the jump as Perla Matista Garcia and Grace Molloy won the 103 and 110 pound bouts via forfeit. The Cyclones got on the board with a technical fall at 117 pounds, but Alvernia pushed its lead to 15-4 with Sophie Sharp taking 124 pounds by a forfeit win.

The Cyclones made it a 15-9 match with a fall over Alvernia at 131 pounds, but Alvernia pushed its lead to 25-9 with Ahnika Hoover and Kathryn Berger winning by forfeit. Alvernia solidified its lead with a pin by Elizabeth Adebola in just 29 seconds at 160 pounds.

Centenary got another five back with a win via a pin at 180 pounds before Alvernia closed out the match with a forfeit win by Kayla Maldonado at 207 pounds to secure the 35-14 win.

Alvernia is back in action on Friday night with a home dual against Felician.
